The world needs more healthy people now than it has in a long while. Our shared humanity needs people who show up at their best more as an aspect of habit rather than in random, fleeting moments. Living at one’s best self, on the edge of our actualized self, benefits all of us – either directly or indirectly. One of the most accessible ways to develop oneself in a fundamental way is through working with the body. Optimizing physical health and fitness.

An optimized body is essential to continue to grow in other areas of life and for more than the obvious reasons. Our relationship with our bodies speaks also to our relationship with the feminine and to our valuation of the space we take in our daily life here on planet Earth. The body is the vehicle, the foundation, for all that we do and endeavor to do. A healthy body allows for the longevity of life as well as the pursuit of desires.
Our kids depend on this transformation. Our brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors all depend on the expansion of life that comes from optimizing their person in an integrated approach. Our physical being determines more than just health. Along with this fundamental necessity for living, health allows for clarity of thought, presence, sustainability of effort. We can be kinder when we feel well. We serve more effectively and have the energy to show up, not just at work, but for those relationships that we hold most important.
I go so far as to say that the future of humanity as a whole depends on those who ride the edge of their personal growth. Through this they cultivate a more robust energy for themselves and for those that they come into contact with. They serve society in some form, likely in big and progressive ways, but they also benefit the whole from the example of their living. The integrity they maintain with their human body and human being provide a model to emulate and at times as a vessel to facilitate growth in others through mentoring, teaching, coaching, and the like…
