We Always Have Time

We always have time to overhaul any part of our lives. We all have busy lives, filled with family responsibilities and work commitments that make it seem impossible to carve out time for ourselves. But if you think you don’t have time to overhaul your nutrition and fitness, you might be fooling yourself. Despite your track record of success, it is very possible that you’re simply…

…Afraid.

Hear me out.

What Are You Afraid Of?

Fear can manifest in many ways, and what we are afraid of is pulled from the same pool of fears for everyone. What you’re afraid of is specific to you. It could be:

– Fear that you won’t make it through the challenge.

– Fear that you’re not worth the effort.

– Fear that you can’t do without your favorite foods.

Aside from obstacles rooted in deeply traumatic wounds, the truth might be that you’ve simply been prioritizing what you fear over what you want.

Looking Deeper

Answer these questions honestly:

1. What’s at risk for you to eat well, start exercising, or be gentler with yourself?

Take a moment to reflect on this. What do you stand to lose or gain by making these changes?

2. Having identified this, ask yourself again, what’s at risk if what you identified in the first question manifests?

Consider the worst-case scenario. And then ask again.

This questioning can go on and on, peeling back layers of fear and resistance. Eventually, you’ll reach an end, a profound truth that will move you forward in life. It may not be completely clear at first, but it will resonate deeply.

What Do You Truly Want?

So, my friend, ask yourself: What is it that you truly and deeply want?

Do you want to feel vibrant and alive?

Do you want to have more energy to enjoy life and be present with your loved ones?

Do you want to prove to yourself that you can achieve what you set out to do?

Identifying what you genuinely desire will give you the fuel to face your fears head-on and to embrace the challenge

Remember, you always have time to overhaul your nutrition and fitness. It’s about making the conscious choice to prioritize your heart’s desires over your fickle fears. Take small steps, be kind to yourself, and know that every effort counts.

Embrace the challenge, and you’ll discover a stronger, healthier, and more resilient version of yourself. What you want is always within reach—don’t let fear hold you back.
